Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Kate Whittington fans and victims

Kate is evp and customer experience officer for the bank. She runs a very tight ship. One where there are no leaks, tears, or missing rudders. She runs it like it’s hers because she believes it’s hers. Her loyal sailors serve at her beck and call. When asked they will post glowing comments about her here and on other forums. There is something to be said about being a leader with strong narcissistic powers. All power to her. She is also famous for sending people who disagree with her on the infamous gang plank. Her loyal serfs within CX and HR do her biding. Didn’t I say there is something to be said about being a strong person?

Kate would make a dictator blush and wish they had taken her lessons in diplomacy and leadership. Kate W is an enigma. A powerful one.

Cross her the wrong way or wait even if she thinks you crossed her, you are fodder for the sharks. How else can sharks be fed?

Her sailors here would have us believe that she is an asset to the bank. Of course she is. She is doing someone else’s bidding now. The new man Michael L who runs marketing is way out of place and knows not a thing about analytics. He needs a person to do the dirty deeds and Kate has the skills for it. Didn’t I say Kate was a strong leader?

Kate W is emblematic of the deeper rot at USB. Fiefdoms, friends circles, and fan clubs run the show. Believe me when I see it and say it. Kate is a powerful leader. As strong as they get.

Absolutely nothing new here except people are starting to call it out, albeit anonymously and not to USB. She has always operated this way. Lying and stealing from others to make herself appear competent while taking down any possible threats. Treacherous tyrant.

Kate W is up to her shenanigans again. Let’s be blunt here. She is pushing good people out and is using the cost cuts as a convenient excuse.
Did you know that her team mostly buys third party research to then peddle it to internal users who think she and her team do the good work?

KW knows she is weak and will eliminate anyone she sees as a threat.

Talking of Kate, where are her pet poodles on this portal today? Mama loves you for su-king up to her. 🫢

I had a few friends who reported to her and they went through he-l. They were not allowed to collaborate with other teams because she was always competing with someone. She controlled every little thing, if they questioned anything they were reprimanded and then removed from the team asap. She belittled, betrayed and lied on the regular. Overall hateful person unless she needed something from you.

The level of a55-ki55ing that KW’s people do is beyond repulsive. They need to buy a new toothbrush every day 😳😁

Her chosen ones jump at every chance to support her.KW cares only about her own power and not about the team or the bank.

Whittington is one of the best leaders out there and it’ll be proven when she leaves the company soon because they can’t keep anyone good right now. She is transparent and smart and lets her people lead because she trust them. I don’t understand where this is coming from, but whoever keeps posting about her really needs to get a life.

Is it confirmed that she’s actually leaving?

Kate Whittington is this generation’s Dan Hoke. Manages up brilliantly but behind closed doors is an arrogant and abusive tyrant whose only concern is self promotion. Thank God she’s leaving but Hoke should have beat her to the door.

Kate is a typical corporate a-s kisser the way most former consultants are. I don’t think she is long for the bank, but she will get a great new role somewhere else because of her experience. I don’t think her time at the bank is long though.

Here is a simple test that any employee can do. Send Kate a simple field level feedback. See if she cares. Actually see if she even responses. As a branch manager I was initially excited we got a talented leader to run experience. Bad assumption. I emailed her and got no response. Finally I was told by my manager that I should follow process and not send emails to Kate. Later I found out she has close connections with other Chief type leaders. Now it makes sense.
