Ok, OP had a little typo of baking instead of banking. No big deal. But OP makes a good point and that's exactly what I have been doing. I have worked for a few different banks in my career but I was getting tired of the toxic environment in that industry. Working at Wells Fargo was the last straw (this was the most corrupt bank). I ain't going back to banking. Luckily, most of my skills are transferrable. I am currently training myself to transition to a different career path in a different industry.

I'm working ahead of a potential layoff and volunteering with my city's planning commissions office
