Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Been retired for a minute…

How are all of the offshore jobs and various centers performing? Any chance any of those jobs could be coming back stateside?

Haven’t offshored the C-suite yet.

No. More offshoring is the future.

No chance of bringing them back. Cheap overseas labor is replacing expensive US labor in many areas where only limited knowledge is needed

Hi, ok since someone always has to make it political, let’s not forget the tax cuts Trump gave billionaires and their corporations. $29 Billion for AT&T alone. So every year companies like T get a 3 billion tax write off that you and i have to cover. If Trump was president today it would be his economy.

I've got 45 years ncs and I'm not retiring just because of little millenial A-holes like the ok boomer poster. Go **** your self. 😁

Not a chance they are coming back. They haven't traveled around the world from China to India to (maybe next stop Africa) and finally to AI. Save your money. We are all going to need every penny. You think inflation is high right now, you haven't seen anything yet.
