Wondering WHAT really goes into the decision making regarding which work location or center gets the work and thus workers. And what level really makes those decisions. Who decides which office is going to close. Most likely all the logical financials are analyzed however also likely is politics, union strength, demographics, tax breaks, sports teams, toys, golf and fishing options for upper level executives. It would be so interesting to listen in on a Teams call to hear discussions about this. It's probably just a roll of the dice for deciding factors.

about 10 years ago one of the tech groups got a new B band, who was in another city across the country. Instead of said B band moving to the work, 40+ techs were hit with a surplus, with option to follow the work.
The techs in the effected group were not the low senior in the office, so another group was hit with layoff.
disrupt 80 techs with moving, layoffs, and training techs in new roles, because a B band would not move.
So still none of the azz wipes above L2 have been laid off?

They have a large dartboard in Stankeys office.
