Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

RTO Tustin CA

Any one else in California asked to RTO in June? A few of us project managers were told to start commuting to Tustin.

They way it always works. And FYI, you were laid off because you were old and overpaid according to leadership team. Oh and because you were almost pension eligible. You think RTO was the issue.... just wait.

If Tustin is like it was at one time
BBQ across the street
Strip club down the street for after work activities
Close to the beach if you don’t mind the traffic
Good times

Is there room for more people in Tustin?

Be thankful you had a deferred RTO, a lot of us have been back for a while. There are some badge swippers who think they are slick but they will eventually get the layoff e-mail or call.

"Y’all should be fired for not RTO-ing a year ago when it was mandated."

You should be fired for being d-mb enough to think that RTO was applied universally at the same time across all organizations.

RTO is a surplus tool. If you don't adhere to the rules our minders have given us, you will become a bad employee, subject to a range of punishment options.

Cry me a river!!! Omg back to work at the office in sunny southern California? Omg life is sooo bad, OMG your paid level 2 or 3 pay and have to finally have a grown up work schedule.. smh. Rto post are old, it's simple, get another job that's remote so you can give someone else who wants to work a position..

We have a Level 3 in our org that is allowed to work in Sacramento and his team is all over the country. It’s ok because of his relationship with VP.

As we all know…

It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.
