Are you also locked out of your computer ? Is the local access restricted in any way ?
I would like to be able to use my laptop till I buy myself a new one. For how long can I keep the laptop from the moment I am informed that I am being laid off ?

Never trust corporate assets and your continued access. These are given to you to do your work and are restricted once you’re no longer needed. No more life time employment. Always be lookout for yourself and distrust management.
was impacted last oct. no, they wont lock u out of ur laptop. you will only have access to email and webex for the most part. access to internal network resources is more or less limited. no access to salesforce if you're in sales. i think they will disable it somewhere between 24 and 48 hours after the notification.
