I was told that the layoffs will start on the 10th in India. US will start on the 12th through 14th.
From what I see so far, most people on the list asked for a package or are getting it for cause.
There are still many that will lose their jobs that did not ask for it so it will be a tough week for many of us
This came directly from my manager (MD) so it should be fairly accurate. Management will not be spared either so hopefully I am still around to see how this plays out.
So just about 900 were let go last week, assuming a bigger hit will come to US and hire in UK.

You know this company is a dumpster fire when they’re laying off people in India.

Was told I am done as a contractor and they BNY is no longer going to use them and FT must come in 3 days a week. They are going to send all the work to Pune. Good luck with that.
