Surplus being announced today. I’m confident my faa will be passed over for my title yet again as per usual. No offer for my faa since 2016. (one person) The company has made excuses over the years that there’s too many people with 30 plus years and they would lose too many techs if they declare a surplus. There’s no work after monthly routines are done. Almost 20% percent of my gross pay last year was charged to non-productive account codes. They don’t care! So here I sit doing nothing. I’ll keep taking their money for doing nothing. Good luck to anyone fortunate enough to get the offer. This old dinosaur will sit and do nothing and watch everyone else leave.

It’s inside people I’m talking about brainless. We do the fiber orders and pots which are mostly disconnects. We have our power routines and that’s it. Power routines are complete usually by the 2nd week of the month. It’s obvious that outside techs have more work.

Your so full of it the only techs not with work are the ones who dont wanna work they hide all techs here in nj all groups have plenty of work to do .Im not talking routines thats for lazy hideouts we are always working OT amd stuff.The facilities techs doing fios ,system techs doing fiber cell sites and buisness amd the electronic guys all have work its the few techs tht are enjoying sitting that are acting like theres no work call for a job
