Associate Survey

Gentle reminder to complete the associate survey if you have not done so already.

Completing the annual employee survey is crucial because it provides a platform for staff to voice their opinions and feedback, which can lead to meaningful changes and improvements in the workplace. It's a key tool for management to gauge employee satisfaction, understand concerns, and identify areas that require attention, ultimately fostering a more engaged and productive workforce. By participating, employees contribute to shaping the future of the company, ensuring that their collective voice is heard and valued.

Anybody else do the survey and come away with buyers remorse? I just laid it all to bare this year and have a feeling it’s going to be made public after this is all said and done

@2ncv+1sRprz7E - "Seems all they care about is participation rate and D&I."

Exactly!

Apart from potential [weak] PR, how are these data points even useful to management and why do they push so aggressively.

It's hardly "engagement" when we are literally forced to respond.

What a waste of time and money. (esp when they aren't even going to do anything with the other results and comments)

It's now gone beyond ludicrous - it's downright sick and gross.

This bank doesn’t care about employees. They hate their employees !

By not completing the survey you are making more of an impact. All they care about is their “engagement index”. They’re more worried about an un-engaged quiet workforce than the open complaints.

If you do it, don’t give comments. They are not confidential and only serve to make your life even more miserable for giving constructive criticism. Been through it too many times now. Comments get released to your immediate boss, who basically can tell who said what. This survey is a trick and nothing comes from it, other than more hours of your life wasted sitting though pointless meeting set up by those who just like to hear themselves talk. And talk, is all they know how to do.

The questions are written in a way that you can't give accurate feedback, so it's just a way to fabricate evidence skewed in a way they can say it's a great place to work. "Now thinking about your work group, how would you rate the build quality of the whips that beat you every day?"

The Associate Survey is a complete waste of time. This company doesn't give a rats azz on how you rate them. I have seen in the past how the company would lie and say the surveys were excellent in how the company was meeting the employee needs. They posted this cr-p on flagshlit and expected people to believe this. This company is one big shlit storm filled with clueless and incompetent mofos from the CEO on down...

The survey isn't designed to help employees, you silly goose! When you complete the survey, everything is rosy, peachy keen, greatest place ever, sunshine and rainbows. Don't be naive and think the survey is anonymous. Better to keep a low profile and fly under the radar. The survey is a fishing lure. Don't take the bait.

11 years ESAT as a senior person- waste of time. I'll skip. The culture is its uncomfortable to deal with issues, to compete hard to win, rather people get promoted by doing nice, political-correct themes we see everyday in bland emails with sad result is we cannot compete to win. No one is tough. How many if any senior managers do you know who are experienced in, directly involved in, and specifically accountable for winning new business deals - none ? think about that. Those of us with drive and talent to win are on our own with a thousand masters with another agenda for their promotions . Hope Execs are listening, lets really hear from them apart from ESAT with actions.

Been here 12 years and I am boycotting the survey until I see one positive change come from my participation. But I’d be happy to share my anonymous thoughts and experiences on social media to get the REAL word out on how the culture has shifted at this company over the years!

Those surveys are a bunch of bunk. Nothing for years I brought up was ever addressed. This includes the manager, team and company. When I left I was so brutally honest in my exit interview (which I received nearly a month after I left) that I got a secure email from someone in HR wanting to talk to me about my responses. No, they were not going to pay me, I said no thank you, I’ll pass.

Can we replace this bank with a better bank?

I'm still waiting for them to take action on the suggestions I made last year, the year before, the year before and the year before, etc. etc. etc.

All they want is a high response rate for some unnamed reason. They could care less about the scores or what anyone actually says.

That survey is a crock of s**t. They're looking for more creative ways to drive attrition in order to save $$$

Anyone notice that like, the questions are super, what is the word... neutered? Like the questions aren't addressing anything real. Nothing about the things that matter, like WFH for example, or work seating. Only vague questions, and answers to the questions can be interpreted any way they want.

Kinda weird.

This annual survey is nothing but a painful reminder that nothing I have ever brought up either in the survey or at a skip level has ever been addressed.

That is almost comical. The bank only cares about what is good for the banks bottom line and shareholders
