How many people are going to get let go next Tuesday during Employee Appreciation Week?

I was pre-notified two weeks ago and my last day is June 11th. So I guess no cookie for me.
What if I told you that 1/4 of the WFC shares purchased in Q2 were bought by WF? So we worked our understaffed azzes off, earned the company $5B, so Hudson Yards could take that money and spend it to boost the value of their own personal shares by $2-3/share. I don't know about you guys, but I feel so phuqwing appreciated.
I think they will fire MORE people than normal. Remember the objective: maximize voluntary attrition. Which one does that, sincere employee appreciation, or a vile demonstration of the executive's shocking lack of empathy? I think we know exactly what HY will do.
They don't care about people. Remember the 2020 layoffs? It was in the middle of the pandemic, three weeks before Christmas. "It's a business decision" was their explanation. I remember one person who was on maternity leave, another one, pregnant, yet they were not spared. Merry Christmas! Bad PR won't stop them; layoffs don't make the news anymore.
I have to think that laying off a bunch of people during employee appreciation week would be incredibly bad PR. My guess is they wait - but it is just a guess. I have no crystal ball.
Less for them to clear out later if they can get the employees to help for free.
Oh the hollow warm and fuzzies offered at WF.
WF trying to represent or communicate anything is the equivalent of billboard laden with bird po-p.

Barnhart in Oregon is going to have 3 days of a free candy/snack table! I don't know about you but free snacks totally makes me feel better about the impending site closure and layoffs!
