there are more people in the mgmt role including BDMs, Managers, PMs, Directors etc in Cisco who stop engineers to build better products. I seriously don;t understand why they put so much effort to stop us building better products ? why ? why ? ..it is almost like 1: 8 .. to ki-l 1 Engineers voice there are more than 8 people in mgmt. they never upgrade their knowledge, lethargic to think, never learn ..dam these guys are real curse for Cisco.

If you speak up, you might as well start sharpening your resume. Managers are too scared to lose their jobs but smart enough to send their puppets to do their dirty work.
Cisco is not a tech company... obviously engineers aren't valued.
We can about strategic relationships and marketing strategies. Maybe learn how to bundle products that don't sell with a switch or router?
Engineers are worthless in a sales driven environment. Your best luck is to become a manager.
Engineers are not liked or welcomed at Cisco and kept at heel and have no place at senior levels. Cisco is a sales driven company and not a technical company. Engineers ask difficult, evidence based questions that are not liked by management who would rather speak about BS topics and AI. This is one of the central problems at Cisco.
It’s the engineers that will lose to AI.
All telecomms seem to have this problem. No one at the top takes accountability and more engineers are cut. Don't worry, AI will be taking over their role soon as well.
