I think tomorrow will be ugly. We usually have a team meeting every Tuesday and they pushed it back a day to Wednesday and made it longer. I’m concerned for myself and my colleagues. We deserve so much better here

Why are some sites calling it the "career mobility and employee appreciation event"? Is this just for sites that will be closing down? Not sure why employee appreciation is being hijacked in these communications.
In lieu of severance, employees laid off this week will get a free cookie on their way out the door.
A lot of people will be fired today. Calling it now. If you're impacted, please let everyone know what group and if possible how many were impacted.
I just got word that literally everyone is getting laid off tomorrow, except for one person in India that will be responsible for eventually closing out payroll.
Then that person will have to lay themselves off.
Tough gig.
I hope they cull faster and deeper everywhere except ethical and value adding functions like internal audit.
