I guess you wonder how and why I do it, but I know how to do it and I do it to calm people down amongst these wild layoff rumors which have been wildly in excess 90% untrue.

So sad reading the string of failed layoff predictions here. Such a sad hobby you have scaring others. What is the reason for scaring people repeatedly in a zero layoff environment?

It absolutely DOES matter if you have an office to go into because the spring, 2024 culture is not wanting people based at home. If you haven’t been visible enough, given projects and what not, you will not be able to keep your at home position. Growth Centers will take your position. If you can wait it out for a year or so it will probably change again. I am from a location in Texas. They moved people to other locations and will keep doing that with people that fit their criteria. The rest of us will be laid off or driven so bat sh*t crazy we quit.
When we are fighting with each other we let the true enemy roam free. At least when Charlie was here we were all united against him. Now we sound like a pack of wolves fighting over the remains of the carcass. Nobody is safe, do the best you can to prepare and keep your dignity intact lord knows the company has lost its.
