...by laying off the most experienced and hard working employees, and retaining the Purple Nosers. I guess the Kool-Aid bill was what was hurting the bottom line the most.

It's almost comical how little class some of those trying to instigate and belittle each other on here have. No surprises though.
All the SMEs and leaders in fiber left before yesterday…
Did they shut down purple park? The whole rapid scheme was from googlers
Most of the Google people I knew are gone.
Agreed. I was a part of the RIF but no need to be bitter. Once the announcement was made about the possible sale of fiber and SC, you should've know your days were numbered if you 1) Didn't work at Google prior or 2) Weren't involved in maintaining the current assets or systems. Crown just needs a skeleton crew right now to maintain what they have, sell fiber and/or SC, and pray interest rates come down sooner or later.
Why are people in Network so shocked and upset. I understand losing your job su-ks but this was telegraphed and it was no secret it was coming. You had plenty of time to find a job before the layoff came. Also news flash! There will be another one right before or after the sale of fiber.
SME & Crown does not exist. So happy you are all so great at your jobs, or sorry were. So there should be no problem for all those SME’s getting jobs or finding out they are bullsh-t and only held a position at crown because of someone the knew or blew.
Everyone I know who was released was a SME. They laid off for money. Bullsh-t.
