The HR person who showed up on a group call told us we were only eligible if we work up through Dec. 31st. But I’ve heard of people getting cut last fall getting their ‘23 bonuses so who TF knows!
Normally, you need to be employed at the bank on the bonus payout date. If you've been displaced, you need to still be employed on October 1, so any displacement date after August 1 will get you there by virtue of your 60 day notice (whether working or non-working).
Don’t bank on that money! I have a displaced peer who previously received an 18% annual bonus and was given 2% after being displaced at the end of last year.
Go look up the Wells Fargo Bonus Plan in Teamworks. The plan document will provide you with all the information you need. in short, if you're displaced and on non-working notice on or after the end of September, you are eligible (but don't take that to mean you're going to get much - manager discretion so some will be fair, some will not be). If you leave the organization for ANY other reason (including retirement now) before the bonus payout, you're not eligible.
If you are still in your notice period September 30th and after, you are eligible. I was in notice period until mid October and I received my bonus in February 2024.
31 March 2024
I know the exact date.
It’s not in the handbook explicitly?
I do wonder about Sep 30 vs Oct 1 as last day of work by and eligibility.
If you make it until September, bonus is not guaranteed, up to your manager. That means it’s unlikely.
Today.
The minute before it hits your bank account
I thought if you got displaced before February, then you lose out on bonus. Is that not the case?
September 30th. But not sure if that means if you are displaced on 7/31/24 or after that your 2 months notice means you are still eligible.
After Wave 2 displacements
September, not sure of exact date.
