Half of Intel’s non fab employees make 150k or more per year. This is less than google, Microsoft, Nvidia. However, you are none of those companies, Intel is more likely to hit 40b in revenue than 80b ever again. The plan has no more gas and the unwinding trajectory down has begun.
So compare your salaries to HP. Dell, Micron some other fortune 200s. You will see you still make more than many of them.

You have the right to compare your salary at your working place to any other companies. Nobody can tell you to stop comparing your salary unless they are fu-kking id--t monopoly dictators.
Not sure where OP came up with that figure, but CCG is full of grade 3-6 employees who make between 90 and 110 base. I even know people in grade 8-9 who just barely break the 150. Maybe OP is a recruiter getting turned down by candidates? Maybe HR?
I wouldn't even compare Intel to HP, Dell, or Micron. Those are companies that understand their markets and are delivering quality products. Intel can't figure out what to do and is losing on every front. Until Intel gets a clear direction and accepts its new role in the industry it will just be chaos and competitive compensation will not be a top priority or even possible. Intel is a completely viable company just not in the direction they are heading.
