You can click the graphic below for the historical numbers, but it shows that as of March 2024 Intel had US$52.5b of debt, an increase on US$50.3b, over one year. However, it also had US$21.3b in cash, and so its net debt is US$31.1b.

Years ago debt for Intel used to be $0 and it was touted internally. I think I just heard Andy and Gordon roll over in their graves. Net debt would not have cut it.

It's because BK and BS spent all the cash and profits on stock buybacks to boost the stock price and in turn their own personal wealth.

That's all fine and good but...You have to sell something that someone wants to buy. Pair that with a damaged reputation from being a--holes in business relations and years of pushing snake oil and there's really no upside for the future of Intel.

Book value is around $27 a share.
So, the market isn’t assigning a lot of value to the business.

Limited downside and decent upside.

Intel owns 88% of Mobileye if they sell the whole company can easily pay of majority of debt. Debt is high but we can easily manage until going back to profitability
