Looks like we all get to dig out our marriage licenses and tax filings to verify our spouse is eligible for health insurance. Employer is not entitled to see our returns and I’m sure my wife of nearly 32 years will be delighted to dig out our marriage license. Overstep boundaries much?

To the people saying it's their policy; their terms -
- This is a part of the benefit package presented when the job was accepted & fighting to not cover a spouse is a trash move
- Whoever quoted the ACA requirements... the government only requires you to be paid at minimum wage as well. . So that means nothing
- Every year around employee engagement survey time, they parrot how amazing our benefits are- you can't have it both ways
The fact that the bank has access to public records, a legal department & lexis nexis but is asking for proof from the employees should be proof that they are trying to insult their employees at every chance they get. And before someone says there is a cost to lexis lexis, there was also a cost to print, send & review documents that are sent back in.
Shouldn't this have been done as part of the benefit enrollment process?

yeah covid vaccines were so crazy dangerous I already got cancer really quickly after and the insurance companies already figured all that out!!!
ACA requires employers with 50 or more workers to offer coverage to employees and their children (until age 26), BUT NOT SPOUSES. BOA can dictate the terms for spouses to remain covered. Is it fair...No. It may be another tactic to force people out the door or early retirement. I did not receive the email but I am extremely interested on the verbiage pertaining to "tax filing". Can someone provide the partial text?
Looks like more people got the insurance audit email. I know 3 people who got it today.
It came Bank employee communication email.
I am not even on bank insurance and received it.
Yup 20 years at BOA and now they want Audit our insurance. Bank is getting worse by the day.
This may be required by the state. Which state?
They’re paying for the insurance, their rules. You can go get your insurance on the open market if you don’t like their rules.
