XOM Texas does not have non-compete, i did not sign one when I joined, my previous employer had it.

XOM employees are pretty much unemployable outside XOM.

If you've spent more than 10 years in xom your career is over, regardless of your non-compete.

Way back at the merger, Exxon offered 2 year salaries for Mobil employees to leave, but Mobil Execs were offered 3 year salary to leave, with a 1 year no compete clause as justification for that extra year of pay.

Those leaving execs could get employed immediately, just not with a direct competitor to EM for 1 year.

At this point in your “career”, all you have is a Non-Complete Agreement
