Didn't move. They closed my office during COVID and said the next closest hub, Harrisburg is my on paper location but I didn't need to come in. It is 170 miles away. Just got the notice 8 days a month. My boss said I need to figure out how to make it happen.
With VZ offices closing all over the place for many this is just a repeat of the past where they closed an office and you had to go to the next one more than an hour away from the first.
When I moved a decade ago I was an ok distance from the office but that office and the next office after that closed leaving me a very long commute thst I’ll soon be making most days every week. I can’t afford to move closer with interest rates and even apartment costs so I may find out how the discipline process for continued WFH works since I’m leaving anyhow.
Value dude, why are you 90 miles away? Did they hire you knowing you lived at that distance or did you move during Covid?

Within VCG - some groups have a 60 mile radius. My group (Verizon Value) didn’t have a radius. I am 90 miles from the nearest Admin office.
