“ No way in he-l they are hiring an entire floor of young kids out of college only to tell them to move to Dallas. Ain’t happening”

This is precisely what’s happening in LA. They were building it out as a TDP hub and are canning the whole location. The fact that they’re bringing in TDP to NJ means nothing unfortunately. They’ll give those kids the fast track to realizing how stupid this company is.

“Once the GNOC was moved to Dallas, it was clear The-Powers-That-Be don't want to be bothered with NJ. Middletown will keep only building A open as a satellite office.”

Except the GTOC, not the GNOC anymore, is still in Bedminster. Not Dallas….

Once the GNOC was moved to Dallas, it was clear The-Powers-That-Be don't want to be bothered with NJ. Middletown will keep only building A open as a satellite office. Already, employees have to shuffle around the Middletown Building A to find vacant office space. There isn't any assigned office space anymore. Bedminster will be history in the near future.

I’m not sure why this is confusing. It’s going to be just Dallas and Atlanta.

Middletown is being remodeled as we speak. It’s also where ATT hires the nerds right out of University with STEM degrees for the TDP program.

No way in he-l they are hiring an entire floor of young kids out of college only to tell them to move to Dallas. Ain’t happening.

Given they own Middletown and are spending money destroying offices trying to cram everyone and every lab into open space in the one building there that they own, my money is on Bedminster since they can't make any good decisions.

All I can say is, Goldenboy is in Dallas. What’s that say about your odds?

There’s a mini golden boy in Middletown. Guess we still got a shot….lol

Cheaper labor in Texas, closer to the border.

Most companies in telecom are in Texas. That's where every company is moving. Taxes are too high in NJ, so corporations are leaving.

Any owned building will be put up for sale for pennies on the dollar and subject to a leaseback

NJ was to close and the “where we work” HUBS saved both. Congratulations!

There’s still 3 centers in New Jersey and two are full. I’ll worry when there’s one left and since Bedminsters lease ends 2030 and they own Middletown, I’m not very concerned.

‘A’ building in Middletown is what all the other buildings are being consolidated into. AT&T owns ‘A’ building.
‘New’ Bedminster has 7 yr lease that ends summer of 2030.

Bye bye New Jersey. You’re SBC now. Bell Labs forget about it. We’re a media company now and CNN is its crown jewel said RJS. Thanks Randy.

Neither may even make it until the end of 2024.
