CX and PX engineering/PMO whistle blown ???

There is a big time layoff coming in CX and PX engineering/PMO with latest restructuring. With no ROI in CX on the offering and Cisco unable to sell and increase revenue. ELT has to make tough decision to blow the whistle. Where all engineering managers and directors will go ? No place or role in Cisco because neither they have Biz acumen nor tech skill sets.
Telemetry is the other useless and no ROI thing happening in Cisco that needs to be replaced with a vendor matured product from service providers saving millions of dollars. Telemetry work done by engineering is just waste of money

CX PM is a disaster. Sandeep Milar has no clue about Product Management. Scott and Sandeep's orgs never could have the brains to bring offers to market that actually can scale or be profitable. Most CX PM offers are useless with minimal touch with customers. I bet there will be redundancy across the two major orgs coming together. Automation strategy is still a disaster and would be interesting to see if any real offer can be played to the market. The entire Service as Code is nonsense and customers see it. Market is moving too fast and AI is the center. CXPM has no AI offers that would be even credible to compare against those from DELL, HPE, etc. Liz can wave the AI banner but would be interesting to see if CX can be relevant with any offers in this space.

Good luck and yet another change in CXPM. I bet another change will come in 18 months.

Kick CX and PX engineering managers and directors, they are worthless, no ROI
Merge into IT might be good opportunity to send them home

The guy running CX Product Management is chronically unfit to do the role. Sandeep Milar came from the PMO org as a Senior Director, was placed as head of Product Management by another disaster (Alistair Wildman, who was summarily fired). But then to everyone’s amazement was confirmed in the role by another (even worse) disaster Liz Centoni! 😂
CX will implode soon. It is the deaf and d-mb leading the deaf, d-mb and blind! #FireChuck

PMs and the PMO offices of the CX segment of Cisco do the day to day work of running the strategies, offer creation, and support readiness for Cisco support & service product lines. The leadership is unlikely to remove them because then they'd have to do twice the work - make the plans, and execute on them by themselves.

The PMO has been a joke for many, many years. Most of the PMs today are nothing more than glorified admins from Mx. Most of the US based are not much better. No one does any planning anymore as most think they are actually delivery managers or something. Arrogant and unskilled. Especially those on the large accounts. They should hit the reset button on that whole organization. Buying a TRUE PM firm instead of the coming splunk implosion would have been the way to go and would have cost about $27.999B less. Well done chucky boy.

No need PMO at CX, layoff 98% PMO at CX is a good start, that would be beginning of life at Cisco. Most disgusting people are those PMOs from CX at Cisco.

Speaking from experience of the customer, CX are a crock … unless Cisco wake up they will destroy the company.. maybe that’s Fran’s big plan … a company that executes nothing they say they will but she does it with a smile

Telemetry was first developed in UK but later stolen by pajeets. The fate of telemetry was sealed after it was taken over by pajeets.

Folks will know when they are listed for LR as d-mb managers and directors will signal or suggest if one is smart. They know but hiding, you don’t know but wanting to find out.

This is time for managers and directors who only work to monitor and harass employees to be on this list. Enough is enough of BS managing others through LR.
