Sadly the majority of humans will always follow the confident over the competent. While Chuck created growth where John couldn't, the masses still love the smile and soft voice of John.

Liz Centoni is a joke. Arguably the WORST leader. She has destroyed every business she has touched. Period. Bets are high that she will quickly destroy CX. In her direct report line up is Sandeep Milar, who is like a kindergartener pretending he is in college. No experience and is running a 2,000 person organization (6 months ago he was a Senior Director with 6 direct reports). What is Cisco thinking? Chuck is asleep at the wheel. He needs to be fired.

True on 1st point. Andy B., Ken D. and David C started Arista (Andy bank rolled) back in '04. Jayshree joined in '08 as CEO. Chambers did not push her out. She took the better offer.

Also, Chambers should have been gone in 2009-2010. Don't forget he was at the helm when wang collapsed too so Chambers was a long way from being a great ceo.

Cisco's quality has been extremely poor for 30 years, well before moving development offshore and decades before DEI. Cisco needs far deeper layoffs.
