I have made it through many many layoffs in my 39 years here. Literally every person I’ve known who got let go, except one person who was a drunk, ended up better off and much happier. I got laid off on 3/5 and am hoping for the same for myself. Good luck and I wish you well. This could be the best thing that’s ever happened to you!
