badgeing or login count, and for the login, doesn't have to be your laptop. can be any computer connected to the network, they know where you are logging in from.
Oh wow @xep+1soOvKKD. Did you just really out yourself as a castrated middle manager who has to do the dirty work of laying off people ? You must need therapy and I hope you get the help you need but I doubt you know the meaning of the word because you don't ever help anyone on your team. For the record - I always bring my laptop. My new office building (to which this exceeding expectations employee has been unwilling reassigned) is not in the safest area. I have an appointment and I don't want my laptop stolen. If you ever paid attention to a Develop You course instead of brown nosing, you'd know what I mean.
With questions like this no wonder headcount’s must be drastically reduced. And good employees are being lumped in with the OP but OP is the one making the cut.
