Finance STL hit with letters

Title says most of it. Was the Finance group in STL hit with letters last week? Any confirmation on this as well as timelines and such?

Yet there is a financial auditor position in STL open as we speak.

To poster who said:
It’ll be interesting to see how strictly that 12/31 date is enforced.

Dates aren’t reinforced. Many in towers Chin/Sambar have dates from last year and are still working from all over the country. If the right people like you, you get exceptions and no date enforcement

“I suspect it takes 21-30 days for HR to hone in on you if you aren't badging in to the right place, based on feedback I got from some people that got their HR warnings. your org's presence requirement plus your configured designation is what matters. if you are required 3 days a week, badge in Dallas 3 days a week. no one cares where you work the other 4 days, until they change the policy again, which they will. only sure thing is that att will change their policy again.”

I mean, I’m not planning on actually moving - was just curious how long I could draw it out by saying I’m planning to move and then just not move.
Kinda weird the severance date and move by date are so close, I’m guessing this is to cut back on people just saying they’re going to move and not moving then dragging it out.

I’m guessing that’s also why they haven’t let go of a lot of the people who said they wouldn’t move yet, since so many wave 1 and wave 2 people haven’t even moved.

Interesting.

Why do you think they would keep you once you pay for your own move? During the FTW action in 2018 they still layed people off after moving to Dallas.

“False. Trap statement. HR will monitor your non-compliance. They will issue 3 escalating warnings about your lack of presence at your designation. First one will involve you and your boss. The next two won't involve you, but will involve your boss and next line. 4th offense, you are separated”

"Not a problem at all. They said take as much time as you need."

Finance L3s and above have had over a year to ensure needed cross training and documentation is in place. This decision isn’t new and no one should be caught off guard whether choosing to relocate or leave T.

Not if you say you’re moving…

It's also Finance in New Jersey. 2024 Year-End close will be a disaster with so many gone. I feel sorry for the ones left (excluding Sabrina and her VPs).

Obviously not….just curious how hard they’re going to play these deadlines since we also had deadlines for wave 1 and 2 in my org and they’ve all gotten either pushed back, moved, or they just haven’t made people actually move.

Yes for most of the Controller's organization except Payroll and AP. Off-payroll date is 12/6, although it was heavily implied that there may be a few layoffs prior to 12/6.
