Time for Cricket to help retire $134B of debt. Let's all kick in to get this done, the sooner the better.

It's quite apparent that you already drank the kool-aid you've lost your mind! Kick in for what, do what, are you insane? This company CEO supported the bad choices made by Randal Stephenson, now he can figure out on his own how to fix this mess. I will do nothing to help this man because he should have done the right thing a long time ago and forfeited his gazillion dollar salary! Everybody else has to pay the price except for him!

T has no choice but to continue downsizing its workforce given its financial state.

Honestly this is a blow to a already lean organization. I work for this side of the business and the crazy part is we just had a reduction in team in October... Not even a full half a year and this comes.. tbh we're under Paid for similar roles on the att side.. yet we get hit, and I get it, no one is safe.. but damn, we have consistently hit and exceeded targets for the value segment and we're the leader and still this happens... Good luck to everyone out there.. especially in this economy where the job market extremely bad.

Can confirm. Ten percent of the Org will be cut by May 29th. It was a big shock to everyone. Cricket was responsible for the most of the net adds produced throughout the entire org this quarter and runs very, very lean. I have no idea where they would cut.

Race to the bottom has started. $15/ line for talk, text and data. Yep only 1GB then it slows.
We need costs out of the business to increase margins.
It will be an online only business shortly.

This is correct info. And they’re doing it at regular T not just Cricket. Treating impacted employees like cr-p!
They used to give a little dignity to those exiting. They probably decided that’s no longer necessary bc T doesn’t get debt reduction by being decent to those who are leaving.

Yeah, just heard from a friend on that side that they are reducing 10% of the organization.. and this is the side where they are running lean as it is.. July 8th is final day for those impacted..
