Embarrassing Sycophancy in Intel

In a week where the US Government BANS the exports of Intel chips to China, accounting to about 25% of our global revenue, here is an example of the total lack of self awareness, self delusion and sycophancy on show in our company, this time in the Government Affairs Group. A massive “so what” to be in cluded in the top FIVE HUNDRED influencers in Washington DC (a bit like being recognised for taking part in a marathon of 30,000 people) which is bad enough. But for Bruce Andrews to be recognised for being an influencer in a week where Jo Biden takes away twice as much of our income as he “gave” us in the Chips Act, it’s just sickening to see this level of self promotion and sycophancy. Completely embarrassing! I have to work with both of these asss licking clowns below , I am actively applying to get out of here. The wheels are coming off, and these mo--ns are high fiving each other .

Sarah Kemp, VP Global Government Affairs

“So excited to see Bruce recognized for his leadership. It’s one of the reasons that working on Government Affairs at Intel is so much fun!!”

Hendrik Bourgeois, VP European Government Affairs
“My fearless leader Bruce Andrews’s well deserved recognition as one of Washington’s Most Influential People Shaping Policy 2024 👏👏👏”

They're banning to Huawei, a much smaller market. Keep in mind those 25% sales to China include Lenovo and Western companies that have manufacturing sites in China.

Almost as good as the masturbatory billionaire schmoozing posts by Sandy L at Davos and her HR heifers. Intel needs billions of Biden bucks because it blew it on stupid sh-t like flying Sandy and her minions first class to Davos, paying Flo Rida to perform at an "AI" launch party, and making Will.I.Am, "Director of Creative Innovation". Youtube that Will.I.Am keynote presentation. Not to mention the almost hundred billion it spent on buybacks, Altera, McAfee,

ha ha , you clearly don’t know anything about GA or how the Chips Act got started. Intel and others were pushing on an open door , meanwhile apparently not that influential to stop the Ban on our chips to China …. governments give and when they do they always take as well

So you didn’t get recognized for your work and now you are angry? What were they supposed to be doing. If Intel had not received the chips act hand out things would be even worse. I assume the people you mentioned might have helped with getting that money. At least they are doing their assigned jobs. From the numerous posts on this site that in itself is an accomplishment considering the number of people bragging about doing nothing all day long. If they are in gov affairs being an asss li---r is their chosen profession and they appear to be good at it. It is your chosen profession too if you work with them but you just aren’t as good at it. Practice your technique…
