I am still hoping and waiting I get a severance package soon . . . . then retire using my 6 mos. severance pay to roll into retirement duties LOL
Grateful and happy, life is good!
Adios to all comrades on this site.
Dead weight.
Woohoo! Got severance, no way was I relocating for those 🤡 without any guarantees. The possibilities of it happening again were too high so, new chapter and moving on. Good luck to my peers, hope it works out well for you making the move. Had enough of the toxicity, org changes, layoffs and top down dictatorship to last me a lifetime.
Gone are the days of the long-term empowered employees who, were valued assets and contributors. Employees have become, human capital on an expense report that are to be used, abused and tossed away whenever “needs of the business” dictate. Such an ambiguous, catch-all statement. The poor decisions of leadership have a price unfortunately, employees below the C-suite are paying it.
Honestly this surplus would be a blessing if the job market wasn’t so sh-t
