How are things going since Monday brand launch? Are you affected employees inspired and excited now?

This company is entering the market too late. Every potential buyer already has a cybersecurity plan in place. There's no room for a rebranded cybersecurity failure in this segment. It's a harsh truth; just ask any previous customer of T.

“People will start quitting in droves.”
Actually many won’t since they don’t have industry experience in cyber. This is one reason T wanted to sell the division off. It will immediately clear a lot of lifers with outdated skills from the payroll.

I'm happy that everyone knows how it's going to be. Why Bob bought Cybersecurity and why he invested.

Interesting part is, no-one mentioned his own product he is going to introduce.

When LB will be out of ATT? It takes time. There's over 300 dofferent tools, systems and connections. You cannot do this separation in a month.
My guess? Autumn, maybe October/November

@gqd+1stoRdZG - You’re right. I must have been tired when I read your comment. It was spot on. No one wanted the cyber business. After years of begging the security to buy it, they attracted one man. The former CEO of Trustwave.

He’s buying for one reason: he can make a
Ki-ling by cleaning out the bloat and excess of AT&T overhead. He’ll make a ki-ling without any innovation. That much is known.

If you’re a part of LB, I wish you luck. The grim reaper is coming for many of you. Also, once the transaction goes through, health care premiums double, 401K drops, and the general managers lose all of their exec benefits. People will start quitting in droves.

When is LevelBlue going to break away from AT&T altogether and be it's own company?

Re: DirecTV, settle down chippy.

My comment was that they couldn’t sell our Security assets outright like they couldn’t sell DirecTV assets outright.

Shocking how uninformed people can be when misinterpreting what other people write.

I'm part of LB now. Honestly I like it. I can see a lot of good steps and process ideas and enthusiasm around me.
I think it's great opportunity to get rid of all unnecessary tools and connections. Develop new way of serving customers. Things we hated for years may disappear.

Right now, I'm excited

Imagine seeing the garbage going on on college campuses right now and thinking ivy league graduates are the answer to anything.

Is this some kind of "sick joke"?

“ Is this something we are supposed to have hear of?”
Not really. Leadership adopted this new name for the cybersecurity venture in an attempt to mask any association with AT&T. One of the main reasons was to prevent further devaluation of the venture after T’s massive security breach was revealed.

AT&T doesn't need Ivy league talent. Just a few more people with a clue might help.

What? DTV is also a JV with 70% AT&T ownership. Shocking how uninformed people will try to shoot their mouths off about stuff they don’t know anything about.

They couldn’t sell it outright (like DirecTV) so they went the partnership route. Sign of the quality of the asset 😢

Rumor is T has a 40% interest. But be real; they have no real interest. It’s all for show.

In my 10 years at this place, I have seen several very decent smart people let go. The company loves their not so smart, red neck hillbil--es from the hillbilly capital of the nation. The Company leaders are still living in ancient times of the founder who had a farm. They just don’t want to get out of that inbreeding small town holding on to their mediocre locals. The only reason the company has somewhat been successful is due to non local talent that is willing to live in that shithole in exchange for visas. The hillbil--es despise this sighting diversity excuses but clearly lack the talent themselves to innovate anything. Let’s be honest the company can never attract pure talent from Ivy League schools being in that shithole.

As a reminder - Private equity describes investment partnerships that buy and manage companies before selling them.

The future is certainly not bright.

Does AT&T have any interest in this company, i.e., minority interest?
