Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

In the not so distant future...

With the way things are going, WF will have far more employees based in India and the Philippines than here in the US... when (not if) that happens and they have the majority, it wouldn't surprise me at all to see a shift in the location strategy and core locations moved to Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Manila.

Well sure, but what would they use it for? Doesn't seem to have much use unless you're a domestic US bank.

@yyo+1sv18ioh, Indians don't care about quality, they just want to make more money. Most of the Wells Fargo Tech employees are already in India so it would be a very smooth transition.

Have you not noticed the outages and freezes/hightened awareness increase in direct proportion to offshore? Bank will self destruct before 75% offshore is reached

That's because Charlie is preparing to sell Wells Fargo Tech division to a certain fin tech company in India.

When I was at Putnam, it was based on their time 10 years ago. Whenever I have a question, I need to stay at office until 8 pm when they go to work.
