Coyne leaving

Now David Coyne is retiring. Good run David!

Wonder if he ends up at Empower also.

This guy Coyne was a joke. A complete blowhard who would show up once a year for an hour or two, talk about how great he thought he was, and then take off. He will not be missed and I sincerely believe that he is getting shown the door...

Coyne is done with work. He did his job, and each and every one of you will either get old or die somewhere along the way trying to get old. I hope you get old first. You've gotta do "you" at some point in life. Corporate ladder climbing is the "thing to do" while you're reasonably young. Other than that, we're all in this life thing until we get promoted to the cemetery. Never forget that reality.

Great. More changes and more reorgs.

Met him while working in the branches. Found him to be very knowledgeable about our mission, the overall PI strategy and how it fit in within the larger Fido plan and an overall nice guy. I think he had 12000 indirect reports so can see how he could seem rushed and impersonal at times.

Good riddance. Had zero respect for Coyne's intelligence or business acumen. Met with him on several of occasions and listened to the guy bloviate during team calls numerous times. He was one of the least impressive people I met in my over 20 years in financial services.
