Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Monday Blues

Thankful to have a job. However the Monday blues have never felt more real. I feel like a metaphorical bo-b is going to go off in terms of layoffs and RTOs. Just when? Messaging is so unclear it’s nearly impossible to
Focus. Can they just get it over with? It’s exhausting trying to decipher HR and C level leadership messaging.

Not just Monday blues. It’s days in the office that are unbearable. I’m not as productive there because of all bullsh-t interaction with 30+ people who won’t shut a fu-k up. You want me to work or talk garbage all day? It’s one or the other.

@ual+1svQPsOY Yes, that infernal sound of the ticking 60 Minutes stopwatch is enough to start the spiral of despair because it means I have work in the morning.

Sunday evening blues are bad too, when you work for a horrible company. The thought of another day at such a dysfunctional company is a burden.

I've just learned to accept the company is an absolute mess while I look for employment elsewhere.

I have everyday blues here. From the moment I wake up I get that sinking feeling of ‘what am I going to have to tolerate today to get a paycheck?’ Doing what I can to hold on to my sanity until I don’t have to deal with this place’s toxicity anymore.
