The new Manager Feedback Survey

Is the survey anonymous? This survey is replacing the old Humu survey. Will Feb manager be able to find out who gave what ratings and feedbacks?

It’s not even going to matter because it will be skewed by RTO anger. Managers have no power.

Companies can figure it out if course. That’s how they can tell you already took it if you click again.
We were made to take it while being watched (not our screens)

ratings are anonymous and reported in aggregate. you can always leave the feedback empty so the manager cant connect anything to you.

if you have a manager who is good (not perfect) and is trying to be a better manager, an honest survey would help them help the team. Not many managers are like this though. However, if you are lucky enough to have a manager who wants to get better, has a think skin, no ego and is not a vindictive a$$h013, do provide constructive feedback. Otherwise, just the ratings and no comments. Comments wouldn't change an a$$h0l3 manager anyway.

I don't do manager feedback surveys. I don't trust "anonymous". Too much unknown risk to my paycheck.

It's anonymous - let it fly

Seriously really is and the company does care if they are horrible so lay it all out on the survey.

Hopefully you don't work for me!😀

My manager said the survey is semi-anonymous, I don’t know if he is bluffing. He is a horrible manager and expert is gaslighting, by the way.

Never believe anything will remain anonymous.

They are never anonymous to the company. Your manager won't know, but HR definitely can find your identity. At least past surveys worked like this.

Managers don’t receive a report right after someone fills out the survey. They get one report some time after the window to take the survey ends.

Maybe don’t tell him the time of filling the survey? The managers will receive a report right after you submit the survey.

It’s anonymous but if your manager has only a few direct reports and knows you well, they may figure your open-end comment is from you. With the humu survey at least, we could read the open-ends. Your manager won’t know how you rated them on the scale questions, but I wouldn’t recommend tanking them on everything.
