Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Let’s hope the Investor PIP Darren

So more rumours of investors not liking Darren and the lead ‘Independent’ directors aggressiveness and trying to sue. Let’s hope they pip Darren. They should sue him for his focus in short term gains and leaving us in the s long term when there are no assets and no talent people left.

Let’s all vote no for Darren. Unfortunately we will be beaten by the investment community but isn’t this our best chance to send a message? 10000 employees vote against will be impactful….i know many won’t vote against the master

DW has made all the right moves from a business perspective, but they were all short sided from a diversification perspective. He applied a BCG criteria to every asset, but you see, some assets may be needed later and acquiring them then will be impossible or cost prohibitive. He will likely leave before the next US election, but his destruction will be felt for a decade.

Rumor is that while Wall Street investors love the company performance, it's becoming harder to ignore the stark hatred for climate. He's embodying Lee Raymond in a nicer suit and look how great that went over... By year end, oil prices will deflate and so will xom profits. Get ready, it's coming.

DW could not leave right now if he wanted to. He's a slave to the machine. All he can do is make these poor choices before the matrix sets him free. Sure, he'll leave with lots of money but honestly, what good is it? Neither he nor Kathy have gotten action in bed in years... crusty and rich? No thanks.

I wonder what impact it would have if no employee that owns stock voted for him

When does the fire sale start? Asking for a friend.

Stock all time high? Largest OG acquisition in 20 years? DW is here to stay. But yes the culture and future is destroyed

OP, yes he must be fired. Kathy Neil and Jack too. But it's too late for ExxonMobil. The damage's done and it's huge. There's no way to rebuild this company. It'll be sold for pieces in a firesale soon. So let's keep milking this dead cow until the end.
