Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Last paycheck

If my last day was May 10th, would my last check be for May 1-10th and paid out on May 15th?

No you will get a full free 3 days of pay. HR ask managers to put in only payroll dates for termination unless you are terminated for a reason and without benefits.

HR does respond, but always at their leisure. They all work from home watching TV, running their errands and deciding to answer a portal question or two in the afternoon.

How do they get such cushy jobs? HR defines the jobs and salaries so they are the most overpaid admins ever.

I always encourage you to ask these questions here to Internet randos rather than ask Human Resources who can give you the correct answer.
