Might have been frozen but I'm betting the lump sum is still higher than yours. Plus the bonuses for the last 18 years, plus a higher company match on 401k. No reason for me to be jealous of a union employee, at all. Started out that way and advanced my career. I'm doing just fine over here, thanks.
All pensions were frozen in 2006 except union. So don't act like you get a full pension when you do not .
