In VBG there are teams that are managed under one director that have wireline and wireless team members with the same day to day responsibilities for each side. For some reason, wireline team members received the VSP offer while the wireless team members did not. While the VSP is clearly an attempt to reduces costs, does it seem fair to offer the VSP to only one side of business while trying to enforce HR policies for performance on the other side of the business?

“The business isn’t getting sold” doesn’t preclude the EMPLOYEES from being sold!

In this case, both wireline and wireless teams are in sales roles supporting the same customer types with monthly quotas. That I understand a lot of the wireless teams that received the VSP were in overlay positions supporting specialty services.
Not true. Most were on wireless side.
Has nothing to do with Wireless or Wireline and everything to do with your role and the clients/customers you support. Who ever told you that life was fair?

Wireline non union. I was offered VSP and so were my wireless colleagues. Not sure what position you are in.
And EVP said point blank yesterday on an all hands call VZB/wireline not being sold
Duh... Wireline is not in Demand... Wireless is. Business 10!
Sounds like a wireline sell off is coming.
