They are by no means stupid... they are politically savvy. Which is smart-cunning. The best saying a G11 told me was (which was told to him by a VP)... "the kn--e is so sharp, you don't even feel it going into your back.

Normally, people who can lie are not stupid and stupid people sometimes cannot lie.

Both liar and stupid. This is destorying critical decisions in TD. The chain of liars, Ann's staff lie to Ann, Ann only believe lies and pass to Pat. Telling lies is a culture for the higher management to survive, they believe and promote liars.

I have to admit that I lie to my wife sometimes and she also called me stupid when she was mad. We aren’t working at Intel and don’t like its employees.

@1jud Intel had a perfectly good way of weeding out underperformers, it was called ranking and rating. However, due to wokeness that was done away with.

You must be a liar to be a great leader because most people will follow you and a few people will disagree even you are not telling the truth. Accepting to lead a corrupted or failing company is stupid. You need to be very smart to lead successfully growing companies. With the current situation of Intel, I think the leaders are qualified for both of these characters.

The group leaders all have targets to cut costs. And they also know only way to cut costs is by cutting headcount. But yet they are playing a waiting game. Waiting to see if Intel will be ground to dust. If that isn't stupid, what is?

Intel as an organisation is in such a poor state that there isn't even a process to weed out non-performing employees. If there are layoffs that will only lead to already fractional number of employees doing meaningful work will go down further.

Maga is make america great again. Intel used to be great, it went woke, started the die hiring and lost its discipline

Just like current MAGA politicians - They will say anything if they think it helps to secure their jobs, even if they don't believe what they are saying.

They are at ease with the corrupt ways of the world. No one is that stupid. It’s due to the incentives.

Being able to lie, not caring about laying off people, purely focusing on yourself, being able to leave promptly without worrying about what you are leaving behind are prerequisites to climb up the corporate ladder. I read somewhere that "wherever there is big money involved, ethics and morals are always at their minimum if not non-existent".
