VIP is designed to lower OPEX. If not enough people take VSP, then RIF will follow immediately to ensure the OPEX reduction goal is met.
Interesting. Field securing work by bringing desktop remote back to field out of franchise offices. Big picture but limited scope. Work is leaving Verizon via HCL, contractors and other means.
VSP just opened today isn’t it a little premature to say not enought people are taking it?

Being that engineering is participants of the VSP, more than likely they have to spread folks around due to the ages in that org and the many that will be taking it. How that equates to a RIF is beyond comprehension.
VNOE, Core Engineering, whatver they are called now always has RIFs - at least twice a year!
And what is VNOE?
