Pat is an utterly unfit to be CEO - there is a reason why Andy Grove didn’t give him the role 20 years ago.

This post correctly called Pat's ouster nearly 6 months before it happened.
Pat is a good storyteller and is an animated speaker. That's all it takes to remain as CEO. I don't think he will be fired. He may choose to go after making a satisfactory amount of money though. This looks more likely to me.
It takes years to turn this sinking ship. Pat has the right strategy and he is getting the right people in to execute. It will still be a few years out before chipzilla returns……but believe me….the good times will be coming.
Pat never even tried to fix basic problems, all he did was beg for gov money. Sad.
He has less than 2 years. Policy at Intel is that CEOs have to retire 65. Unless he did away with that.

We need a change for a black women CEO at Intel similar to the successful story of mrs Su at AMD to weed out dominant white male racists where all problems get started.

If Pat leaves, that's the end of Intel. Company will be disbanded and sold. There will be no next CEO, internal or external.
