Will rather Meraki folks or Cisco Classic folks be impacted? and by when? I heard that people in Australia have been affected due to the NX organization.
There are a lot of redundancies in the current setup. For example too many people are getting paid on a Meraki deal.

Apparently Meraki RSW targets will be crazy next FY
@7keh+1t4sRMED
Cisco Friday commit calls
Weds and Thurs just call the partner and request and update to talk nonsense to a manager
Not one of them speaks to the customer or can qualify an oppy
The reality in all of this is the partner actually found and closed the business. Cisco people don’t actually sell. They report.
Q1 you will see some announcements
Teams are having to train on catalyst and others on Meraki
You will see Cisco start to remove some overlays
I am not certain what this means for management either
@dmn+1t4sRMED and useless 'generalists' who know nothing about a lot
Specialists in the random BS parts of the portfolio are being cut so we can focus on our actual business - networking.
Lol you mean the Meraki org actually call the customer @cvm+1t4sRMED 🤣
Too many overlays on a deal
If you sell an MX and secure connect
- Meraki PSS
- secure connect rep
- virtual security rep
- DAM
- SAM
- Meraki PAM
- Cisco PAM
- Cisco Smb AM
I'm reality the meraki guy is likely to have closed it and is the only one that has a clue
The others are just overlays and like to make reports
Smb and commercial mid are specialist plays and Meraki first apparently is what we are hearing
It is likely these motions will become virtual
The plan is to not impact anyone when the teams merge. This isn’t a headcount reduction or cost savings play but more so a realignment to help us go defend our position in the market which is being lost to cloud players.
