Eisp to union

So sounds more and more legit that they are going to offer a buy out eisp to union associates .issue is that how big & if it will be specific or everyone offered.I mean everyone in our group is hoping to get a really really big package but some people would be happy with even a small package .Its all based on individual circumstances,But I believe that once they offer it the place wont be the same.anyone have any info

Lotta money lost these past couple of years. An offer may not be enough. Better to fleece VZ for a few more years.

If you're lucky it might just cover the loss in the pensions. But I doubt it.

Folks underestimate the willingness of the "older work force" to stay until a package changes their minds. Does Verizon want to keep paying a workforce that is basically staying out of spite for another 5 to 10 years when they can be done with them and remove the vestiges of the last union protected workforce they have? My guess is the bean counters have done the math and figured out a plan of action to help the company's financials for the future. The first step was the VSP to management that went out LMs overseeing large fiber heavy areas. All talk from them and other techs that would be in a position to potentially know something is that a package is inbound to techs in those same areas. We shall see.
