Letters 6/25 and LDOP 7/9

Anyone have news from HR to confirm the rumors?

Yes, those are the July dates. There are similar dates for every month the rest of the year.

August names are already in.

Always have, always will but now at an accelerated rate of layoffs. Thank a c-suite employee near you or Randall and the Stink.

Sounds like 25th will cover Waive 2 and hub people and maybe Waive 2 who said yes to relocation. And it will be massive layoff.

“ I am a union employee and would trade places with any one of you exempt employees!”

That would be a really bad move. No job security, 2 weeks notice for off payroll, we have to pay a ridiculous amount for terrible health insurance with sky high deductibles, no comp time, no overtime, tons of hours, lots of stress and nobody to grieve to. Oh and I manage nobody, just an office worker. It really would be a bad deal. You can have my job while I think about it, happy to trade.

Employees continue to pay the price for the sheer incompetence of DEI led BOD and RJS arrogance and reckless management. If BOD would have golden boy’s gonads they’d sue RJS for $100 billion on behalf of shareholders.

Unfortunately for union personnel, the days of T offering that kind of severance pay is long gone! T would rather utilize the craft employees they currently have and keep them on the payroll until they retire! Makes perfect sense...why give an employee 104 weeks of severance pay, (2 years) to leave when they can pay them the same money to work!

Union employee here. I would love to get a letter. 88 weeks term pay. Just a little under $200k.

I am a union employee and would trade places with any one of you exempt employees! I have had enough of this nonsense and believe this company will never see better days ahead, the best days are long behind ATT! Unfortunately, for some strange reason unbeknownst to any of us, T seems to think that technicians are a necessary part of the rebuilding process of this company! Once again, they are so wrong!

Expecting my letter on 25th. Been told by manager it’s coming.

Me too, and it is not RTO related. No regrets here, I am ready to move on.

For sure it is true. I had to participate in a meeting about how to carry out the notification. In my case, I will be notifying my direct reports.

Just another week (layoffs) at T!

T is broke!

Not making enough revenue and BAD business decisions, so layoffs it is!

There’s two kinds of T positive people on this board:

  1. Union folks who were too d-mb to sell T and believe RTO will be some magic panacea to all T’s problems and raise their pathetic holdings back up.
  1. Paid actors

You'll either get a letter or you won't. Worrying about it solves nothing.

Yes, it's true. They just need to get it over with at this point for everyone's mental health.
