Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Outage

Two since 7/9. Six in the last year.

Two massive data breaches in the last five years, exposing all customer data.

Att su-ks in technical and strategic areas. Let’s all move to a single point of failure - one vendor, few employees, save C-Suite’s family heritage for generations. Stankey and anyone he manages or has hired personally should resign today.

It was our fault, we didn't secure the data properly using the available tools from Snowflake.

You aren't going to hear Snowflake say that, because they don't want to throw their customer's under the bus. The entire point of paying vendors barrels of cash is so they take the blame in these scenarios.

This second breach. wasn't T's fault directly, but fckn Snowflake for overcharging us for lax security. I don't know who brought. Snowflake into T , but who ever they are should be held to account.

Welcome one and all to the 4th Industrial revolution and globalism!! Greatly excited to see how the next chapter unfolds and extremely anxious to see how much more damage can become of it. One thing is certain, this is only the beginning! Stay strong and make sure to get your family compounds in order.

lack of focus for the important stuff , network reliability. C Suite and Leaders are too busy trying to out do each other with their latest powerpoints on how good they are. All while the technical staffs keep getting cut or offshored or ultimately outsourced. Leadership brags about reducing cost and are rewarded for it, while the core business is failing and of course customers are paying attention. Is the C Suite taking ownership ?!? nope only collecting their massive salaries.

Lack of relevant technical skills in T’s current employee base is the main issue at play here.

So enlighten them, oh wise one.
