I need a job that doesn't completely drain me by the weekend to the point that I can't even relax properly. Between the toxic environment, unrealistic expectations, and the constant threat of layoffs, I don't know how any of us are still sane. How do you guys deal with everyday stress?

At least you get off. Trying find a silver lining. There are some people and teams that have to work everyday and rarely get any days off. That’s how bad it is
I just deal with it because I know I'll have a big fat check deposited into my bank account every 2 weeks for doing practically nothing all week. Easy money, easier job! I'll leave when I'm ready, but prefer to be laid-off so I can get money for nothing!
Adios/Auf Wiedersehen/Au Revoir/arrivederci/Da svidania/Sayonara/Good Bye!!!!
Then stop working and just collect the check.
GTFOH!

Volition. They have VERY different meanings.

How bad is the job that you stay despite how "terrible" it is? Maybe it's you?
I with purpose started giving 0 f-cks. And I do mean Zero. I will be exiting soon of my own violation. I realized what sociopaths the L6’s are. Nobody rules over me. No one.
Daily gratitude journaling, in all seriousness. We can’t control the chaos, so I write down three things I’m grateful for everyday and also three things I’m grateful for that provide me security. I can only control how I respond, not all the crazy around me. Also, rage applying to other jobs daily so I’m ready when my letter comes. Good luck!
If you can't manage work stress while sitting in a climate-controlled building, at a desk pushing buttons, you could always work hard manual outdoor labor jobs that will keep you so physically exhausted, you won't have the time or energy to worry about anything besides eating and sleeping. Or you could put on your big girl pan**es and stop whining.
Tired of putting so much effort hiding and not doing any real work. It's not easy.
Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh
I deal with it by having a f*ck you attitude. Don't care and only want a package and I'll leave. Do enough just to get bye.
And have no issue with that attitude because of what I've seen T do to others and my benefits. Just don't care. Pay me and I'll give you my average. Got my midyear report and I'm solidly one small step above average. Guess it's a good wake up call that I'm actually doing too much but can continue to get the paycheck for now.
Working at T is a mental and spiritual challenge more than a technical one a lot of times. Sadly, so many people either tune it out, or have never struggled with deep questions. Often times, the only way out is through.

Are you just blissfully unaware of the current state of the job market or….?

And there it is. Completely missing the point.
"Hang in there. The trade off is new, younger employees don’t make nearly what you make. The trade off if less money for happy, happy times here or more money and the company tries to make you miserable so you’ll leave.
How do I know this, because a high level friend in the company told me this was the goal of our C- Suite. "
is that why they changed the titles? to prevent vertical movement and a shift up positions without an adjustment to compensation using workforce as an excuse?

If you’re that miserable then maybe it’s time to dust off the old resume.

Faith, family and friends. Stay connected and have a life outside the mayhem.
