1990s Commercial: guy sitting on a lawnmower

There was commercial back in the 90s of a white collar middle manager sitting on his riding lawnmower muttering to himself: "I have a mortgage, wife, 2 cars and 3 kids in college. Please help me!!" I think it was EF Hutton or something like that. There is also a song by the Talking Heads called "Once in a lifetime" that states: You may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife, and ask yourself, well HOW DID I GET HERE. This is the problem of of all WF middle managers ages between 45-60... how did I get here? The point, successful white guys who might have been cool buddies once, fail you because they have trapped themselves in a life with 2 kids in private school, big mortgage, high maintenance wife who never puts out, so gambling and side chicks are the outlet. In the end, they ALL SELL OUT TO CHARLIE.

A lot of you complain about this, but what would you have the "white" managers do? They need to eat and pay their mortgage too. All po-p rolls down hill.

If you want to get paid well, sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do as long as it's legal of course. Obviously, there's always a line, but managers don't want to lose their jobs either.

“I’m in debt up to my eyeballs.”

Absolute legend of a commercial.

“I’m in debt up to my eyeballs”. Good ol’ Stanley Johnson for Lending Tree. Not EF Hutton.
