I’m seeing here and hearing about layoffs, but rumors are all over the place. Can anyone confirm layoffs are happening? If so, who’s affected? I need my daily dose of heightened anxiety.

I know of four displacements close to me. They were all very good performers, one was a top-notch performer AND in a core location. No one is safe, WF is evil.

I have heard of one layoff today. Tech job.
Every morning as I drive to work I'm hoping to see few vehicles in the parking lot and maybe some people standing outside talking while holding packets.

I can confirm 4 people from my circle from tech were let go. One I know for sure was due to location BS. The beatings will continue, the ship continues to sink.
