Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Our management is the problem

I have to say the situation with our management is deeply concerning. Across all levels of the company, we have people in leadership roles who lack the necessary qualifications and, what's even worse, the motivation to perform their duties. Instead of focusing on their responsibilities, they're more interested in office politics and figuring out how to pass the time without doing anything useful. It's a major problem that will continue to weigh on Honeywell for a long time to come.

Speaking of buddies in management, does the Commercial leadership team look the same as it did during the son-in-law’s reign of te---r?

If you have a buddy who is in management, this is your only qualification you need. They’re always hiring their buddies. Giving them $38 an hour. Creating bogus promotions and nonstop resource workers.

They hire these group leaders. We believe anything they tell them. they are the real people running the company. all the management does is get bonuses and promotions,

They do nothing. Other than nothing. Other than walking around with a clipboard, hanging out at the vending machines, taking ridiculous amount of smoke breaks, and wandering the hallways doing nothing. Then they create bogus promotions. Like you’re the head of all supervisors, now you’re senior head of supervisors, and I will give you another title. You’re now, senior, senior, senior to the head of the senior supervisor.

Were way too top-heavy. They just keep creating all these bogus positions for their friends. Most of them are getting $38 an hour or $30 an hour being resource workers or technicians. No schooling required.

@OP+1tECT0z4 You must be in legacy SPS ISC with a boss & director both stationed in Charlotte/Fort Mill! I know your pain!

YES! It is incredible how consistent this across the company, never experienced anything like it! I sometimes feel like I am in an alternate reality. It is so crazily unprofessional compared to a decade back.
