Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Threw a fit

He said he read our surveys, didn’t he? I swear I heard him say “I read all your surveys!!” When do we get to hear those results. Then he basically said he is doing everything “perfectly” and it is all our fault for not executing. He threw in his old “if you are not happy, then leave” line again.

We are at 121k domestic employees and 26k international. That tells me Stankey wants to cull 16-17k domestic employees by EOY.

Stank mentioned 130K employees yesterday which is less than what he had mentioned in previous THs, and we are not at 130K employees yet though he made it sound like we were already there.

The intentions are to make employees as miserable as possible. Why? Because happy employees stay. T IS BROKE and wants everyone gone.

good to hear that others record these things too. The stuff that comes out of his mouth to employees will come back to bite him

A happy 7/9 class member here - this is what I will miss the most - the entertainment leadership provided in these town hall settings then come here and read the comments. How about you (Johnnie Chicago)?

What I think is funny about the survey business is how in years past they always tried to push out some feel-good BS or throw out some training money just to say they're listening to us... But this time around, it was so bad they said scru everyone, we're not doing sp-t. There's too many of us & they just want anyone to leave - why try to make people happy & try to stick around.

Stankey hates us and never misses an opportunity to blame everyone for 'not executing' - I'm honestly having a good time sitting on my bu++ watching it. I can play this game too.

Why do you people still actually watch the Stink?

I dutiful tune it, mute his BS, minimize it, and make sure I charge my time sheet that I had to watch it twice as it was so wonderful and informative (NOT)!

or I leave it up on my screen and go take my roll of TP to the restroom and excrete his excr-ment! After-all, the Stink Stinks!

Yes he said it was the customer counts, stock price and attendance. Ok he didn’t say attendance but he absolutely does focus on that - have been told that by multiple people. I always record when he starts his little culture BS rants after the ageist comments last year. He did say he read the surveys but didn’t say what they said. From the tone it didn’t sound positive.

He said he perfectly understands what winning looks like. Main takeaway was the employee count comparison. Sure sounded like he wants ax 20-30,000 more. Always inspiring stuff from him.
